been present for centuries because of these special light properties
The diamond has always been considered to be top precious stone

Another aspect is the brilliance in a diamond by which the experts
determine the value of any diamond. The brilliance will vary and
the fire it creates in the eye of the beholder, the dealer, or anyone
marks the diamond’s beauty and value. People have always been
mesmerized by a diamond’s light performance, the brilliance and
the fire for generations as well as today. The important
observation by the people are light color, either dark or
brilliant, that may happen by movement of the ring on a finger or
perhaps the necklace or earring when worn. Diamonds are simply
a fantastic precious stone found mostly on the ivory coast and
then cut and styled by experienced jewelers. A jeweler is an
absolute artist and creator of most beautiful looking works of art
in a very special medium.

A Visual Artist’s Creative Mind

A visual artist loves to draw and paint especially for decorative fine art. The artist has a creative mind that can imagine
what he or she will have as the end product and this may be a pencil drawing, a watercolor
painting , a landscape, a portrait, a flower or maybe a seascape or even an abstract
interpretation of the desired image. This talent is an inborn ability to the. visual artist.
In order to properly develop the skills and master so many different details of the trade
one needs to practice, to practice every day. Choosing the art classes will be a great
experience, art colleges are available to let the student learn from the experienced
masters of the past. One may study the variety of techniques to recognize different
styles leading to execute an art piece. Once enrolled in college one will discover so many
detailed approaches and finally find the right direction to go in a chosen creative art career.
And it all begins with drawing. The first order of creating visual art is to develop the
drawing skills and this will be continued and practiced at all times. Drawing is the basis
of each and every piece of art, each painting, each sculpture each creation. And there
never is a thing as too much drawing, rather the skills continue to be perfected which
turns into great satisfaction for the artist. And only the artist will know when the piece
he or she is working on is finished. All of this are instinct based processes by the artist,
what the the teacher does is teaching technical skills and give suggestions of improvement.
The artist actually works from an inspiration inside of the mind in a special creative process.
and this process has now to be placed on paper support surface where the first
sketches come to life.

Depending on the technique chosen the artist is bound by medium he or she is using. Watercolor looks as a fast easy work done in one session, some artists can do this provided they have the correct skills for it. In general the watercolor will be continued for days to come yet has to stay fresh . While oil and acrylic mediums will take more time even weeks to be finished this being a very different technique. An artist is a hard worker and gets totally engaged into the work process without noticing the time that went by while using the creative mind.

How do Auctions Work

 How do Auctions Work

An auction is supposed to be an opportunity as an open to the public sales event that are sold to the highest bidder. There are a great number of art and crafts pieces that can be offered to auction them off. Auctions are held under many different categories like art, crafts, antique art, contemporary art, the choice can be endless. Auction can also be a profitable work at home business. Any category of items like motorcycles, accessories, or any other one can come up with a particular niche. Popular items may be clothing and jewelery and they are especially attractive if perhaps a well known name can be attached to it. Auctions these days are not just limited to the auction houses. The traditional auction houses like Sothebys and Christies are two very famous auction houses. They are known for high priced items that often are antiques with a famous name attached to them. However in the age of computer science Internet live auctions in all categories including modern art and crafts at reasonably priced charges have sprung up.

The top bidder will have his or her product shipped in a short time. There are lots of websites that are into the business of auctioning. You can list the products you want to auction and encourage collectors. You can specify the time when the bid closes as well as other terms and conditions. You need to specify that shipping and maybe other supply costs are to be charged to the buyer. No auctioneer is needed here, the website is designed to take care of every detail. Still another way to auction off products can be done with a silent auction. This type of auction will be locally offered in a specified venue since people have to actually see the products for sale. This works well for organizations like artist groups, churches or any other association that wants to raise funds for that entity. And again an auctioneer is not needed to be present and thus saves the expense which the organization may turn into gains. It may be called an auction for less online thus indicating the bargain for excellent products.

Shipping costs still apply to deliver with an online auction art and crafts auction. Internet auction of any niche products, is an ideal venue for many artists, entrepreneurs and internet marketers. The crafts category is a wide rage option and includes anything hand crafted. But anything else can be for auction with an acceptable price to the public.

Creativity is Art in any Form

Creativity is Art in any Form

An artist is guided by his or her creativity, which maybe visual arts, any crafts specialty, music, writing or any other expressive form.

Artist are all connected through the creativity they perform and the public admires as well one who purchases it.

Sounds simple enough. However one may not forget that the creative process may develop in stages and often takes a lot of time to produce the right way the artist has envisioned his or her creation. By the simple accumulation of material that will be involved in this creative process the artist will spend time and money before the project even takes any form. One , as an admirer or a buyer, may not realize how much involvement it may take and entail for the creative person to go and work through the many stages he or she has to go through. There are not only the physical stages in creativity  but much time has to be given to the creative emotions , the occasional frustrations and ultimately the joy of having finished such a long planned work of art.

The finished project may be shown in a Gallery, a Museum, a Concert Hall, a Trade Show , a street show, a Library Presentation , an Online Presentation, a video to offer publicly or simply in the Living Room showing and performing it to friends and family.

Watercolor Art Paintings

Watercolor Art Paintings

Watercolor is a beautiful medium for an artist to work with. The pigment is simply mixed with water and rendered on high quality watercolor paper. The artist then works on the image that he or she has prepared , usually in a light pencil drawing or a sketch from which the work is then proceeded to be transferred onto the watercolor paper.  One has to keep in mind that an artist  has a very individual mind in how the application is executed. There are general rules of course but an artist can only render his or her personal impression of a particular subject. And THAT makes an original watercolor painting so unique and special  .

The Decorative Flat Basket

The Decorative Flat Basket

Baskets have been made and have been in use ever since mankind lived on this planet.  All baskets to the day are handmade,  they are so versatile and come in so many forms and sizes  as well as materials that they have to  be made by hand. Useful and Decorative Baskets have been   the utensil to carry goods like gatherings from the wild in fruit, vegetable, grain and wood for fire.  Special baskets have been woven by the natives of the world  from specific grasses to hold water,  thus the people could carry water and even cook water and foods in these baskets. These people were true artisans by necessity  but they also were  weaving baskets with artistic designs. One may still admire some of these indigenous works of art in modern Museums.

While most baskets are woven for specific purposes and needs , some artists weave baskets for decoration and have their very unique expression manifested. Even the decorative basket may have an application as Useful and Decorative  Baskets. The materials for baskets are mostly natural and from plants and trees,  some leather strips may be used in any way to be a binder or a decorative accessory to the design. Some people have been using even plastic pieces in the basket weaving,  however that is in general rather undesirable.  we use, like the natives, baskets to carry just about anything.  Find below a large decorative basketwoven by renowned artist Gudrun  Napp.

About Fine Art

Fine Art means all art is the communication venue ! The artist is creating his or her vision via any artistic outlet such as drawing, painting, sculptures, photography, graphic design , film making , music or in journalism. It’s any art we see visually,  in two and three dimensions ! The natural landscape is a powerful tool artists have used throughout time. We seem to want to recreate what we are looking at and at the same time change it to put our own interpretation and character into it which gives any expression the uniqueness it deserves in perhaps a watercolor painting. Contemporary Fine Art is the current version of living artists who produce fine art, music or any other art or craft object. Art is not limited to drawing, painting, sculptures etc. There are the living visual arts such as the painstaking shaping of the Bonsai tree or creating the next beautiful hybrid rose. We started with the incredibly gorgeous vintage rose and now we literally have hundreds of different kinds of roses in various sizes, colors and fragrances.

Then we have the art of using silk as our canvas for a creation of fashion or even as a contemporary fine art online galleries make it possible to for the silk artist to show the creations world wide as has any other artist introducing his or her technique and medium in contemporary fine art. The musician has as well many ways to publicize the music in concerts and contemporary television presentations.

The sculptor can choose different materials to create visually stunning pieces like stone, marble, wood, different metals or clay. Here again the artist is able to let the imagination guide his or her creation to produce a figure, an abstract form, use color or natural tones. Any art is a wondrous process beginning with an idea that grows into a project and is worked on until the finished and polished product is ready to be unveiled and shown.

The caveman had to express his ideas with primitive tools. The contemporary artist has now at his disposal a myriad of tools and newly developed technical devices to create abstract illusions or figurative images. Most of us have admired light plays as an illusion fantastic presentation in theme parks or other open spaces which are very creative technical works of art. An artistic expression can go just about anywhere, the imagination has been vast and daring in so many contemporary creations that can be mind boggling. Communicating through word as an actor, through paintings as an visual artist, through many different instruments as a musician, through sculpting with his hands using tools or even machines the three dimensional artist presents a visual image to the public. The writer gives mankind tremendously important communications in journalism as authors of book and poetry. These creative venues have existed since man has been alive, has just grown and developed with the evolution of men and is now the contemporary fine art as we see it.
